HAMMERHEAD

1/5
Half man, half shark, full stink turd
Jeffrey Combs plays a mad scientist bent on revenge and curing cancer.  The answer to all his problems.  Fusing the dna from a man and a shark.  To create Sharkman. With a lot of these giant monster movies, there is a fuckload of boring dialogue, at least this time its not a military experiment.  But that doesnt mean theres not long periods of no sharkman and too much talking.  Another major problem i have is the Sharkman.  It can walk on land being half man.  But we never get to see it properly.  Theres a lot of quick cuts, the most we get is a torso shot.  Seriously use more of the fucking budget to build a decent Sharkman, instead of using it for the 500 explosions during the movie.  William Forsythe, who i think rules, is great in this.  But he doesnt have much to work with.  Some of the other actors, suck some serious balls. Theres a couple of ok gore effects though they are few and far between, we mostly get a lot of the old throw fake blood in water and make a lot of splashes trick. Theres not really any reason you should watch this film.  And if you dont believe me.  I hope you suffer.

Prince Of Wales, Bunbury, 26/03/11

An awesome show.  It was such a lot of fun playing, the crowd went nuts.  And we got to share the stage with the mighty Silver Lizard.  They are also a totally rad bunch of guys. They have just released an EP too.  Discussions included horror, spooky old hospitals and if Gaz shaved or waxed his balls.

Soundwave, Claremont Showgrounds, 07/03/11

Soundwave was fucking awesome.  Period

Rosemount 06/01/11

What an awesome first show for the year. There was quite a few people and everyone there seemed to have agreat time.  Dancing, cheering, and singing along.  The crowd made it so easy for us to have a great time.  Its shows like this that make it great to be in a band! This show has set the benchmark for shows in 2011

Monsters Ball, HQ

Again im not sure what year this was.  Looks like it would of been an awesome show!!!

The Castle

Im not sure what year this was.  But another castle show.  Im guessing 2006.

The Castle, 28/07/06

In phase 1 of the hookers we played the castle so much its hard to remember which show was which.  I do not remember who priority one or the socialites were.

Dont try this at home, 20/05/06, HQ

The Mexicans Tour, Swan Basement, 29/10/06

I dont really remember what the mexicans were like or anything about this show.

Manhattans, 05/08/10

The first time we played at manhattans.  Its a great venue.

Chainsaw Horror, 11/04/09, Hyde Park

A two stage affair in the Hydey backroom, for the relaunch of chainsaw horror(a horror shop in perth). We played on the floor.

Devils Kitchen, 10/02/07, Rosemount

We played this show as a 3 piece as im sure by this stage Maisen had already moved to Melbourne

Hard Ons Tour, June 1-4 2006

The Hard On are one of my favourite bands.  To get to tour with the was fucking amazing.  The tour started off driving to mandurah.  Me and julian drove in my car, we listened to manowar all the way.  When we got to mandurah both wearing double denim, some middle aged lady shouted at us faggot.  Good old mandurah so accepting.  I bought a tuxedo tshirt to wear under my denim. Very classy. We met the dudes from the hard ons, and they were super cool.  After our set, ray told us we sounded like the supersuckers.  Fuckin a.  The hardons played and it was fucking awesome.  On the way back, i got pulled over by the cops and breath tested twice.  According to the nice gentleman i blew .05 twice.  Suck shit coppers.  The next show at the rosemount was pretty sweet too.  I dont remember too many details really.  The third show at the prince of wales.  Was awesome.  The crowd wasnt huge but we had a ball. Before the show i had dinner with Ray.  He is a really awesome guy.  A fucking champ in fact.  I talked to him about the wonderfools.  He drew the artwork on the disc for their kids in satanic service cd.  He told me a rad story about happy tom from turbonegro being obsessed with them and standing up the front at some show they played in europe.  He tells the story better for sure.  The prince of wales gave each band a carton of coopers.  Oh yeah 3 days later also played this show.  The hardons gave us their carton too! Thats was awful nice of them.  The last show was at the indi bar.  Ray used my bass setup for that show.  The bass amp for some reason made ray puke on stage.  That was fucking awesome!!! It was a great tour.

Crossbones CD Launch

Im not sure what year this was.  But its definately from the Chainsaw Hookers phase 1. Obviously I remember nothing about it

28/08/09, Rocket Room

Another late night live show.  We had a lot of fun playing late night live shows at the Rocket Room.  I think the Rocket Room is our official unofficial home.

Lambda Lambda Lambda, Qld,11/11/10

This was our first show on tour.  It was awesome.  We had so many free drinks and the beer came in red plastic cups. Like some American frat party film.  We played a very drunken show, but it was a lot of fun.

Blood Rock Demo

After we decided to do the band again, we decided after we were ready that recording a demo to hand out to promoters and the like, to get some shows.  We recorded two songs.  There was two lots of two songs that it came down to.  I dont remember what the other two songs could of been. Red Hot.  this was a brand new song for us.  Russo came up with the music, and i put the lyrics and melody over it.  It was the first song we wrote together.  Night of the Demons was an older song.  It was started in a hazy night at julians and finished at practice.
